A year after donning an acoustic guitar and facing crowds alone, with only himself and his songs to rely on, Dan has truly found himself. Combined with the efforts of many people he’s met on the road, it’s great to announce his debut album ’Far From Here’ will be available this Summer 2008!

The album has been a long time coming as various bands and projects have come and gone. Were it not for the inspiration, friendship, and sheer talent of so many this would simply have been unable to happen. However, with producer Mark Tucker guiding the music, and Dan’s songwriting and musicianship coming of age, ’Far From Here’ promises to be something very special.

Featuring the talents of Fairport Convention’s Chris Leslie (violin & mandolin) and Gerry Conway (percussion). the John Martyn Band’s Arran Ahmun (drums) and Spencer Cozens (piano & keys), and long time friend Alan Bray on the bass, Dan has found himself surrounded with a great group of people to inspirer him further.

’Far From Here’ takes the concept of one man’s view of the world, and encourages the listener to re-interpret the words and music to fit their own lives, views and experiences.

The deluxe album comes in a digi-pack, with a 28-page, full colour booklet. Featuring complete lyrics and concept photography for each track. A genuine collectors’ piece.
